RE: Did you use windows built in zip to unzip the file?

I'm not sure how it extracted. I've got winzip on one system and 7-zip on the other. I re-extracted as suggested and now have quite a few more folders including PrintCaptureUtility, Server, Slide Conversion and a couple of others. Thank you for suggesting that. To install just the classic meeting server am I just running the setupwin32.exe that is in the Server folder?

Now to find the time to attempt this again. I'm moving Sametime to new hardware with Win2003 because our old version is on Win2k and doesnt' have enough resources. I've done a number of hardware swaps for servers all ready without issue in terms of installing and configuring Domino and then changing host name, IP and editing the notes.ini.

Originally I had planned to install Sametime after doing the above steps (all of this after renaming the existing server's host name and IP and bringing down Domino). Then I had the issues described. So I was wondering if I can do the whole installation and setup off the network so it's isolated because it's going to have the same fully qualified domain name and then when I'm ready to do the actual change over, rename the host machine and which will change the existing (dummy) fully qualified domain name. I can't rename the hardware until I'm ready to actually bring it on line. But I'm trying to get as much done as I can before hand to minimize the downtime, as well as ensure that this goes smoothly.

I realize that I have to bring over the vpuserinfo.nsf, stconf.nsf and MeetingArchive folder. I am assuming that if I'm able to do the above scenario, then when I want to go live with it, I just copy over the latest copy of those files and folders, replacing the current ones, replace the designs and all should be fine.

Carl, am I correct in my thinking or am I delusional. :) And does my plan sound okay?

Thanks, and I really appreciate your help here.
